RCI Adventure Ocean program is one of the most comprehensive youth activity programs at sea. Run by an exceptional staff, the program is tailored to fit five separate age groups. All Adventure Ocean activities are free.

Using what's known as 'Edutainment,' Adventure Ocean blends educational activities, daily itineraries, ports of call, games, individual and team sports, art, performance and general good time into a unique onboard experience for children, teens and parents.

Each evening from 10 p.m. - 1 a.m., our Youth Staff supervises the Late Night Party Zone. This service is separate from regular activity programming and allows parents an option for extended supervision in the Adventure Ocean facilities. The charge is $5 per child/per hour.

Each Adventure Ocean staff member holds a college degree in education, recreation and/or other related field, or has qualified experience in working with children ages 3-17. In addition, the majority of the staff is certified in CPR.

Dining for Kids: Royal Caribbean offers a special Kid's Menu featuring fried chicken, fish, pizza, steak, hamburgers, peanut butter, hot dogs and macaroni and cheese. Adventure Ocean also offers kid-only dinners hosted by RCI expert youth staff giving children an additional opportunity to meet and mingle - while giving parents the opportunity to dine on their own. Dinner option is available on certain nights from 6 to 7 p.m. RCI also offer a special Coke program for kids.

• Royal Caribbean has put together a wide range of activities that are appealing to teens. Whatever they're in the mood for - sports, mingling or just hanging out - chances are they're sure to have a great time on this vacation.

    - Activities may vary from ship to ship. Activities are hosted by RCI youth staff throughout the ship as well as in the teen only nightclub.

• Adventure Science: Conducted by our specially trained Adventure Scientists, this program combines fun and hands-on science experiments. Programs include Staggering Through the Stars, Hair Raising Experience, Alien Encounter Laboratory, Forensic Fun, Volcanoes and Space Mud.
• Adventure Art: These activities acquaint kids with diverse cultures through art. Voyagers discover Native American spirit stones and learn how Native American cultures decorate these stones to represent qualities of spirits.
• Other Games and Activities: The X Games, Rockin' Through the Decades, Reggae Beach Party, Scavenger Hunts, List-O-Rama, Backstage Tour, Horse Racing, Win a Cruise or Draw, Talent Show, Adventure Challenge and Adventure Sports.

• Games and Activities: Wacky Olympics, Adventure Challenge, Adventure Sports, Name That Tune, Dancing Through the Decades, EX Games, Pirate night, Ice Cream Party, Country and Western Night, Bingo and Movie Mania.
• Adventure Science: Conducted by our specially trained Adventure Scientists, this program combines fun and hands-on science experiments. Programs include Wacky Water Workshop, Mystery of the Motion of the Ocean, H20 Thunder Races, Space Mud and Volcanoes.
• Adventure Art: These activities acquaint kids with diverse cultures through art. Explorers are introduced to the fine art of Mexican silver trinkets. They also decorate T-shirts and pillowcases.

• Games and Activities: Nutty Nicknames, Un-Birthday Party, Color and Shape Bingo, Ice Cream Party, Beach Party, Rock-n-Roll Party, Face Painting, Pirate Night, Talent Show, Country Western Night, Pajama Rama Movie Night and Carnival Night.
• Adventure Science: Conducted by our specially trained Adventure scientists, this program combines fun and hands-on science experiments, such as Bubbling Potions, Magnetic Mayhem, Gummy Candies, Space Mud and Volcanoes.
• Adventure Art: These activities familiarize kids with diverse cultures through art. Children are introduced to the fine art of Japanese fish printing called Gyotaku. Aquanauts also decorate pillowcases, make pet rocks and draw ships for the Captain.
